Programs and subjects configured for your use
This page provides the reference data (programs and subjects) configured in the Client Integration environment for your use in build and test activities.
Getting started with reporting training activity during client integration build testing
In the Production environment, training organisations are issued an identity to report VET training activity. Each registered training organisation (RTO) is authorised to deliver a defined set of accredited programs and subjects.
In the Client Integration environment:
You are provisioned with a machine-to-machine (M2M) identity as a supplier.
This identity allows you to connect to STARS APIs/services.
For testing purposes, you will simulate an RTO and submit training activity payloads.
Your identity is pre-configured with a restricted scope of valid programs and subjects with a defined period for which they are valid. Details are in the linked files:
Validation behaviour and test considerations
STARS will validate submitted training activity against your scoped data.
If you submit
A program or subject not in the listed files, or
A program or subject in the listed files but with a training activity date outside of the scoped period
then request will return a validation error or warning.
Programs and subjects of note
To assist with testing business rule outcomes, please note the following:
Submitting training activity for subjects or programs not listed in your scope will generate validation errors. These can be resolved by using a program or subject from the approved list.
The following programs included associated specialisations:
CHC52021
CHC52025
CUA51020
Superseded programs:
BSB40515 has been superseded by BSB40120
SIT40122 has been superseded by SIT40125
Superseded subjects
BSBCUS201B has been superseded by BSBCUS201
Failure to use the configured programs and subjects will result in validation failures for rules dependent on the National Training Register training organisation scoped programs and subjects – specifically BRTS03190, BRTS07080, BRTS04100 and BRTS08340.
